Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sylvia was saved from euthanasia at the Arizona Humane Society on Oct. 26, 2021. She was going to be put to sleep because she had a small mammary mass that needed to be removed. Sylvia had clearly been a mama a few times over…until she was discarded, abandoned in a hotel room for two days where she was then taken to the humane society. One look at her big ol’ smile, and we knew she deserved a chance at the good life.
Since coming into our care, Sylvia has had surgery to remove the small mammary mass, and we later discovered she had a torn CCL. Once cleared from her mass removal, she received a TPLO surgery on her knee. She is now completely healed, rehabilitated, and absolutely loving life. While she is doing so well in her foster home, Sylvia has been patiently waiting for so long now to find a family to call her very own. When we say this girl is special, it’s because we mean it.
Here are some things about Sylvia her foster mama shared:
- She is an amazing girl!
- She is very sweet and cuddly.
- She loves belly rubs.
- She’s about 7 but has the heart of a puppy.
- She loves her toys. Her favorite game is fetch. She gets very excited when she's playing.
- When she lays on the floor she looks like a pancake so we call her Sylvia Pancake.
- She's fully potty trained.
- Has the cutest wiggly butt you’ll ever see.
- She listens well (sit, no, stay)
- She does well with kids, recommend older only due to her size & strength when she gets excited.
- She is a great companion.
- She rides well in the car
- She ADORES people but is reactive to other dogs. She needs to be your one and only princess.
