Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**WE'RE A RESCUE, NOT A SHELTER** Please read the entire bio before messaging us.
Angus is a sweet Lab mix around 3 years old who was found wandering in a rural area of central Oklahoma. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, plus he is fine with cows and chickens. He's also excellent with kids, very loving and sweet.
To adopt him please apply on our website: shelterfriends.org
His $150 adoption fee includes: neuter, vaccines, deworming and microchip.
Processing of apps takes 1-5 days and then we'll email you. Add shelterfriendsok@gmail.com to your contacts so our messages don't go to spam. Thanks!

More about this rescue
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding homes for pets in rural Oklahoma animal shelters through adoption events and fundraisers. We're focused on the Newcastle animal shelter since that's where we're based, but we also pull from other rural shelters when we can. We are a foster-based program, meaning that all of our dogs live in private foster homes NOT a facility. This gives them better socialization skills, which makes them a more well-adjusted pet. Also, the foster parent is able to learn about the pet’s personality, likes, and dislikes so that he can be better matched to the right forever home. We always need great foster families, so if you're interested in learning more on becoming one please visit our website to apply: www.shelterfriends.org
