My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu is a beautiful 10 year old/10 lb yorkie whose foster Mom says is the sweetest and easiest dog ever! Ok she might be a little biased, ? but Lulu is a truly classy lady. FCCR welcomed her with open arms after her owner died and no one else in the family stepped up to take her. Lulu loves to be near her humans and occasionally will jump into your lap, gaze into your eyes, wait for a belly rub and then jump back down and go to sleep. Lulu is vision impaired (she may see shadows) and does not hear well if at all but if you leave the room, she will wake up and follow you! She is pee-pad trained, enjoys sitting outside on the lanai and loves to go outside. She enjoys slow walks. She gets along with dogs but we don’t know about cats. If you are interested in adopting this loving teddy bear, please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org. Adoption fee is $225.00.

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
