Misty is a beautiful 10 year old/10 lb Yorkie who is spunky, does not act her age and has a classic Yorkie independent streak! She is looking fora home where she is the ONLY dog, no cats and no children.

Misty is equally happy being outside where she loves to walk and run and lounge on the lanai while her humans swim. She loves her morning walks where she can easily walk or run 2-3 miles but she needs a quiet neighborhood with few distractions that scare her (walkers, joggers, bikers or other dogs).

Misty is a smart girl and loves to follow her foster mom everywhere! She cannot hear but you wouldn't know that from her reactions to things. She is pee-pad and crate-trained, but working on refresher training plus frequent visits outside. She loves the couch or floor during TV time and when any animal comes on the tv, she wakes up and tells them to scram from her living room! 😂 She enjoys slow dancing and being held by her foster mom. ❤️ If you are interested in adopting Misty, please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org.
