Nova is a 3yr old Basenji mix with loads of personality and spunk! She is a lover and wants to be your whole world like you are for her. Nova is all around a loving and loyal girl who needs some continued guidance in the management of her zest for life (ie. jumping up when excited and greeting dogs with too much excitement). Once she has that accomplished, she will be a completely well-rounded and fully trained lady to go on adventures with and just enjoy life together!
While she has lots of energy and loves to play with other dogs, chew bones, and go on walks, she can also chill out with you and cuddle. Nova is fully potty-trained and crate trained. She walks well on the leash, though can be excitable when she sees other animals or greets new people. Did we mention - she LOVES people. All sizes and ages, though she would do best with older kids since she's still learning to not jump up playfully. She wants to snuggle and get pets and be with you wherever you are. She gets along with other dogs once they establish their pack order, but she is always pushing to be number one. A calm, confident dog would really compliment her personality. Nova likes to lay as close to her human as possible while chewing her bone and will follow you anytime you leave the room - she's very loyal. Nova comes when she is called and knows basic obedience as well.
