Meet Sweet Janine! She is possibly a Hound/Beagle/Foxhound mix (Breed is just a guess) who is 8 weeks old. DOB- 1/21/2022. Janine is a typical puppy who loves to run and play. She was born in foster care and has been handheld from day one, lived with her siblings and mother dog, all of which makes for a wonderful, well-rounded puppy! She is great with other dogs and is young enough to learn about cats. Because she is a baby puppy, she requires an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! A picture of Mom "Brandy" can be located on our website: lovepawspg.org. Mom is 30 pounds. We do not know Dad. This puppy is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. The adopter will be responsible for the spay.
** Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Townhomes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until he is 16 weeks old.**

***The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered as well as a $100 spay/neuter deposit at the time of adoption. This fee $100 fee will be returned to the adopter once proof of the spay/neuter has been provided to Lovepaws.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
