My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Buzz and I was taken into the rescue after a local shelter reached out for help that found themselves having too many buns. There were words being used that I did not want to hear that if some of us did not find homes or rescues there was a possibility of euthanasia. Not a great word if you find yourself stuck at a shelter.

I am a 4 lbs lionhead bun with gorgeous rust colored fur. I have been neutered and was very hormonal, so it has taken a bit of time for my hormones to settle. I am currently learning how to use a litterbox, but my foster mom says I am finally getting the hang of it. The way to my heart is definitely through my stomach as my most favorite activity is to eat. I am a big fan of binkying everywhere I go and almost kick out my back legs when I am happy like a bucking bronco...its quite amusing to watch.

A home with no small children at this time would be best as I was quite nippy when I first arrived which may have been due to my hormones but since we never want anyone to be injured and just to be on the safe side no small children would be best. I do enjoy gentle petting and attention but am not a fan of being picked up as most buns are not.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, Timothy hay plus my daily salad a a big bowl of fresh water. I love my greens of things like romaine, parsley, cilantro and my treats of banana, carrot and apple.

I am not for everyone but there has to be my person out there, right? Would you consider opening your heart and home to a little guy like me?
