My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank was rescued from the shelter after losing 30 lbs and giving up hope.  He was barely walking when he got to his foster home.  After starting 3 meals a day of high calorie food and obtaining a good assessment from the veterinarian, he is getting a new lease on life.

Tank is a beautiful mix breed large dog, brindle bull mastiff and hound.  He's about 5 years old.  He is crate trained and now that he feels better, has no accidents in the house.  If a tail wagging is any indication, he loves to be outdoors where his nose is always on the go when he's not playing fetch. In house he hangs out with his people, plays with an occasional squeaky toy and loves lounging in front of the window watching the world go by.  He is a handsome boy ready for a forever home.  At his proper weight he will be at about 90 lbs and will need an experienced owner who is willing to spend time with him on commands and providing direction.  He learned "sit" in his first week of foster. He will do best in an only dog situation and a fenced yard so he can enjoy "outdoor leisure".
