My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Puddy Cat! Are you a super patient person with a home you'd like to share with a sweet young cat that would share your space well? Do you have a cat that would like a great companion and playmate?

That's me! I like to be around people, watching them, but not petted by them yet. I was born feral and have been around people for several months now so I am getting used to having people in my life. I am about one-year-old now as of July 2021 and I think growing up in a family would be the best thing to help me open up my heart completely.

To put it bluntly, I am shy. It makes me happiest to be around my fur-friends, so I think I would really enjoy a home with other cats. I live with, and get along with, all sorts of feline personalities. So, if you have a lonely kitty, or playful cat, in your home already, I will make a wonderful companion.

My only stipulation? I insist on being an indoor-only cat. I do want to become more confident and affectionate so, living indoors with you, will help me achieve my life goals. Did you set a goal to share your home with a deserving kitty-cat? Let's reach our goals together!! Come meet me soon! Love, Puddy Cat

More about this rescue

www.SierraCountyHumaneSociety.com The Sierra County Humane Society (SCHS), a non-profit 501c3 corporation dedicated to the welfare of animals, is staffed by dedicated volunteers, and is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Companion animals reside at Desert Haven Animal Refuge (DHAR), which is owned and operated by the SCHS, where their daily nutrition, exercise, and nurturance needs are met by volunteers and work-camping staff. As a no-kill companion animal sanctuary, dogs and cats live at DHAR as long as they need to until a loving, suitable home is found.
