My story

KATIE is PERFECT and one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet! She has a wonderful temperament and personality. Katie is approx., 18 month old, 45 pounds, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.
• Katie LOVES children and does well with other dogs
• She is exceptionally intelligent!
• She walks very well on leash
• She is kennel trained and house trained
• Katie will “sit”, fetch and “drop” until YOU drop
• She greets strangers with a happy wag
Katie would be perfect for an active family that will include her in all their family activities, take her for walks, and LOVE her.

1.
Submit Application

We will send you the application via email. Upon receiving the completed application, our review process generally takes only 1-2 days.

2.
Home Check

We bring the dog to your home for introductions to family members and other pets. We have a 10 day to 14 day trial period.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period the dog may be adopted and the contract signed.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application to complete and return. Our review process generally takes 1-2 days. Upon approval we would contact you to arrange a home visit and bring the dog to meet you and your family. (If out of state, we have local groups that would contact you for a home visit without the dog.)

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.
