My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Apple. This gorgeous 2 Yr old Labradoodle is active! Apple LOVES to play and run, she loves toys and playing with other dogs, although she can be a little rough with smaller dogs.
Apple came to us when her exercise needs outgrew her family - she requires a lot of exercise and attention. Apple would love nothing more than to - very closely - follow her person around the house all day and snuggle in between frequent play and exercise sessions. Apple walks well on leash, is house and somewhat crate trained, although not a fan of the crate and would much prefer to be underfoot her person.
Apple is looking for a very active home - she would likely love to go jogging with her person and needs at least one daily walk. She is very smart and learns quickly, so exercise and mental stimulation with training is the key. She is great around kids, but too rambunctious and jumpy for little kids. Apple is not a beginner dog, she is looking for a home with prior active dog experience. She can live with another calm and relaxed dog, so as not to add to her somewhat anxious tendencies. She does not do well left alone, so she is looking for a situation where someone is home a lot and can give her the exercise, attention and affection she craves.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
