My story

Emma is estimated to be about a year old. She is a beautiful, sweet Russian blue who is very smart and affectionate. She loves to eat and chase her laser mouse while running around carrying her shoe laces and playing with her mouse toy. Emma loves to talk and be near you. She would prefer to be adopted with her bestie, Smokey. These two girls deserve a loving home together!

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

We always prefer to speak with potential adopters before requesting that they complete an adoption application.

2.

Submit Application

We review and screen the application and usually follow up with a conversation. Download an application at www.catscradle-richmond.org

3.

Approve Application

If the application is approved, we make arrangements for the contract to be reviewed and signed.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

This takes place at the time of the adoption

Additional adoption info

The adoption process takes around fifteen minutes. There is an initial screening process to determine if the cat and the potential adopter are a good match. Cat’s Cradle will not adopt if, in our volunteer’s judgment, the adoption would be inappropriate. An Adoption Contract must be completed and signed for each adoption.
