Bucky is a happy boy who soaks up all the love he can get, he is a true cuddle bug. This handsome guy loves running, playing, and getting lots of attention. He loves other dogs and kids!

His foster family says Bucky is sweet and loves to lounge on the couch and binge-watch shows or sports with the boys! Bucky thinks he’s a lap dog and shows no aggression towards any animal or human. While he might be a bit nervous and scared of strange sounds, he would thrive in a loving home.

Bucky's ideal home environment would be one filled with love, patience, and a furry companion. Having another pup in the household would provide Bucky with a sense of comfort and companionship, helping him feel secure and less anxious. A loving home with understanding owners who can provide a calm and nurturing environment would give Bucky the confidence he needs to truly thrive.

Bucky has grown up with fur and human siblings and although he will be a little timid in an unfamiliar environment, we know he will come out of his shell quickly and his sweet playfulness will keep you smiling. Bucky is crate-trained and even walks well on a leash. He enjoys all toys, but especially squeaky ones! He loves snacks, of course, but whodoesn't?! Bucky is looking for a fun family that will spoil him rotten.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
