Jack is 10 years-old. I adopted him 2 & 1/2 years ago. His former owner had raised him from a puppy but she got too sick to continue to care for him so she had to offer him for adoption. I adore Jack, but I live in an apartment and a new neighbor is complaining about the fact that Jack barks some. It’s supposed to be a pet friendly apartment complex but they’re threatening to evict me. Jack has separation anxiety. This is probably partly because of losing his original owner as well as the fact that a lot of beagles have some separation anxiety. He’s on medication now that helps a lot but not enough for my one neighbor. Jack is smart, responds to commands, is affectionate, and great with children. He needs someone new to fall in love with him but it should probably be someone with a house who also has another dog to keep him company or someone who doesn’t have to leave him alone very often.
