My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey is a sweetheart. He walked into the rescue and settled right in as if he'd always been here. He gets along well with our other Cats. And, he is a real lover--can't get enough affection and attention.

I am not sure of Smokey's age, but he appears to be a young adult.

We usually have 40+ adoptable Cats (including Kittens) in our rescue waiting for their own families to love,

Please DO NOT contact us to take in any more Cats since our rescue is full and we have closed the rescue to new Cats due to lack of space and funds. Thanks!

Due to covid, we are asking potential adopters fill out an application before visiting so we can check references.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once references are checked and approved, potential adopters visit our rescue.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once you meet the cat and want to adopt, we will take it to our vet for a last vet visit before leaving the rescue.

More about this rescue

CATS Rescue is a no-kill safe haven for homeless cats that would, without intervention, live their lives on the streets where they are subject to disease and other perils.

CATS Rescue--Caring About The Street-Cats, was created because residents in our village were threatening to poison the street/stray cats that were overpopulating our streets.

Our rescue's program is simple: catch/spay/neuter/vet/socialize and rehome cats that would otherwise have no home or family of their own.

We love our rescues and take our job very seriously. They don't have a choice of where they go to live but we do and it's our job to be sure all the cats in our care have the best possible life once they leave the streets.
