It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
ESTRELLADO was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2017. He was a tiny kitten. Well fast forward to 8 months ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. ESTRELLADO is the second one to be ready for adoption.
ESTRELLADO can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. He can get startled, but will come back and investigate. He will then come see you and demand attention. He is such a sweet love bug!!! All he wants is pets and love. Loves to play. He really loves to play with anything and makes you laugh with his silliness. He is at least 18 lbs.! He's not fat...he's just BIG!
ESTRELLADO comes running when it's time to get his can food. He will actually let you know to hurry up! He has the cutest goatee and his half black sock on his foot is so unique. His purr box is very loud. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home.
ESTRELLADO is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is over 5 years old. He has lived with cats but needs proper introduction. We think he would do better with a cat friendly dog. He has lived with dogs. He has never been around children.

FEBRUARY 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 5 pm - 8 pm. You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue
in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue
in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue
The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
