Archie is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd. He looks to be purebred and weighs around 50 lbs. He has unique markings. He is fully vetted and neutered He is crate trained. He walks well on leash and rides well in car. He gets along well with other dogs and is very sweet and affectionate with people.

Archie loves to play and would do well with another doggie companion (tug is his favorite game, but he always lets his smaller Border Collie friend win). Archie knows basic commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Side, turn clockwise and counterclockwise, and recall.) He is currently working toward his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. Archie loves to learn and is highly food motivated. He also enjoys swimming (learned to jump from pool deck by watching other dogs).

Archie has a medium to high energy level, an even temperament dog, and he is not fearful of anything. He has great potential for dog sports such as nosework, rally obedience, dock diving or agility. He has keen nose and will do well in most activities that require sniffing. He would do best in an active family that can spend time with him, and preferably with another doggie companion.
