Daffy/Samson is believed to be a hound mix sired by a large breed dad. He arrived with his siblings over 3 years ago, was adopted, but recently found as a stray. Sadly, he was never reclaimed. Samson would love to be your loyal companion for a lifetime if you just give him the opportunity. He has a handsome face and beautiful coat and coloring to go along with his sweet personality. Not surprisingly after being found as a stray, Samson has tested positive for heartworms. The good news is he will be treated here by our amazing medical team. Even better news is that Samson can go home with his family while he is being treated. The adoption will be finalized after treatment. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to bond with Samson and make sure he is a great fit for your family. Recuperation in a home is always better than being in a sometimes noisy kennel. Samson is neutered, microchipped and current on core vaccines. Come and meet him 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday.
