My story

Meet Gimp! We believe that she is a 13 year old domestic shorthair with the most beautiful green eyes!

Gimp is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She is very shy at first, so we believe she will do best in a home with someone who is very patient and allows her an ample amount of time to warm up to her new environment. Gimp is not fond of other dogs or cats, so she will do best as the only pet in the household. Gimp would be a purr-fect fit in a home with senior owners.

Her adoption fee is $50. This includes her spay, microchip, deworming, and vaccines up to the point of adoption.

We adopt BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and ONLY by email.

We have a small staff so we will do our best to respond within 24 hours of your email: judysforgottenjewells@yahoo.com. We do not accept phone calls for appointments. All of our animals are adopted on a first come first service - scheduled appointment time confirmed from our office.

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
