Hi there, my name is Penelope! I’m a sweet, affectionate cat looking for a forever home where I can be truly treasured!

I’m still getting used to this brave new world of being a totally loved cat, but I quite like it!! I can be a little timid when I’m first in a new home situation. But after a week or so, I settle in really well and then just am all about the love! I’ll love to be pet by my foster parents and I constantly purr when I receive attention. It’s just the best! I also am great with my litterbox, travel in a carrier easily, and am just a really awesome little companion.

I’ve done great with other cats in the past (I’m even easy going with the grumpier old man cat in my foster home and just give him space when he hisses at me) and I think I’d really enjoy having another cat buddy in a forever home. I haven’t met dogs so I can’t report on how I’d do but I’d likely do just fine with a dog who has cat experience and is easy going around feline friends. Since I’m on the shyer side, especially in those early days in a home, I’d do best in a home with older kids or adults only (at least until I build a bit more confidence overall!)
