My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Urban joined BAARK from an overcrowded, terribly understaffed shelter in Kentucky. As one might expect, although he’s a young boy, he’s a black dog and his chances of getting out alive were very slim.

This cute youngster is believed to have been born in July 2021 and currently (at 21 months) weighs about 32 lbs. He is a Lab mix but because of his short legs, he appears to possibly be a Lab-Dachshund Mix.

Urban is a happy-go-lucky boy, very playful and wonderful with other dogs, and friendly with everyone he meets. He would be a great addition to most any family with Lab experience.

Urban would really enjoy the company of another canine housemate…or maybe two!! Older children are ok as well. And a secure fenced yard would definitely be on Urban’s wish list.

As with all of BAARK’s dogs, Urban is fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
