Vivi is ready for adoption in Memphis, TN. Vivi is a sweet, loveable 2 1/2 year old blue merle aussie girl. She is spayed and up to date on all vetting and weighs approximately 60 lbs.
Vivi is a very approachable, gentle natured dog. She is a little hesitant when first meeting new people, but warms up quickly. She has been fostered in a busy home with small children and has done well. She interacts well with the children. Only because of her size, a home with children over the age of 8 is recommended.
Vivi enjoys the comfort of other dogs, male or female and will play with them, but is also very good at playing by herself. She enjoys a good game of fetch! Vivi does have lots of energy and would make a great hiking/running partner. She goes running with her foster dad regularly and would benefit from an active lifestyle. She does need a home without cats.
Vivi is completely house and crate trained. She could use a little more training on the leash but should do fine with the consistency of her new family. She does like to chew, so she will need dog appropriate chew toys. Stuffed toys won't last long with Miss Vivi! Also, Vivi will counter surf if anything is left within her reach. Again, training and consistency in her new home should improve this behavior.
