My story

Harmony is a very sweet girl. She came to us in September of 2021. She had been a stray that was being fed by a very kind lady. She contacted us because she felt that Harmony shouldn’t be an outdoor cat due to how sweet she was. We found out that she was microchipped, when we were put in contact with the registered owner, they originally wanted her back even though they were not able to offer her an indoor home. After discussion, they decided to surrender her to us and let us find her a great home where she can be loved, and safe indoors.
She would do well on her own, or in a home with an older cat or two. She loves to be with her person and is an absolute love bug.

More about this rescue

We created Precious Purrs Feline Rescue in 2020. We are both avid animal lovers and with the Covid situation we decided that with the extra time we had we would do something to help cats and kittens. We began transporting kittens to rescue organizations. As with animal rescue that usually leads to more involvement and it did, we began to foster kittens that needed to find their furrever homes. During this time we successfully fostered and took care of eight kittens that needed varying degrees of medical assistance, socialization and love. All eight kittens found their furrever homes, one of them being Luna who ended up choosing to stay with us and our two cats Mimi and Riley. Being that there is always a need for help with cats and kittens we decided that the best way to help was to start our own rescue. We took in a mama cat and her 3 one week old kittens that were living on the side of a dirt hill. Rose and the 3 babies Rex, Remy and Rocky were the first Precious Purrs clients. Rocky, Remy and Rex have now been adopted into their furrever homes!! We have met so many Amazing people already on this journey and we truly appreciate all of the guidance, help and love we have already received. We are currently working on getting our 501 (c)(3) designation. Mark and Kittie Aleman
