INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PET

Binks is looking for an experienced cat person who can put up with his comical behaviors!
Binks is around eight years old. He is up-to-date with vaccines and micro chipped. He is positive for FIV.
He was found as a stray in York city.
If you want a cat that will rule the house and keep you laughing,Binks is it! He can be a bit over the top and is a very intelligent boy. If you don’t mind being scratched occasionally or him attacking your legs playfully then he is the cat for you. He also has been in my rescue for two years and is still obsessed with food!! He would need to be kept on a strict diet and you would need to have cabinets child proofed! Lol
He really would love to have his own person. He loves to play and does enjoy being pet on his own terms though.
If you think you could offer this goofball a good home, please contact Diane at 516-351-7594. A vet reference is required.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
