My story

Pretty Ana was discovered outside trying her best to take care of her SEVEN kittens! All of the kittens have been adopted and now this superstar mama is now searching for her own forever home.

Ana has learned overtime that she is safe and has blossomed under the care of Animal Advocates' volunteers.  Ana loves to play with wand toys, enjoys special food treats and will accept gentle pets. Ana will do well in a home where she can be given time to adjust - with patience and a gentle approach, Ana will make a lovely companion!

Ana has stunning green eyes and sleek black fur. Her birth date is approximated as August 2020.  Ana has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.  She is comfortable with other felines at the rescue and would make a nice addition to a home with other cats.

To meet Ana, visit www.animaladvocates.net and complete an online application (under the "Adopt" menu).

Additional adoption info

Adoption Guidelines:
- Before scheduling a meet-and-greet with one of our adoptable cats or dogs, you must complete an application and interview with an adoption team member.
- You must be 21 years or older.
- All animals in your home must be up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed / neutered.
- If you rent, we will need a copy of your lease stating the landlord permits pets along with the landlord’s contact information.
- We do not place animals as gifts for others.
- Adopted animals must be kept as indoor companions.
- We reserve the right to perform a home visit.

We aim to provide high quality care for the well-being of rescued cats and dogs until they are placed in forever homes. All animals are regularly vet checked, fully vaccinated, spayed / neutered and microchipped. They are routinely treated for fleas and worms as well as any medical issues.

Except for a limited number of cats fostered at our headquarters, our adoptable animals are cared for in loving volunteer foster homes. We get to know the pets’ personalities and needs very well, striving to make the best possible match for both animals and adopters.
