When you share your adoption story with us, we’ll send you free deals on pet parent favorites like Greenies, Royal Canin, Whistle smart devices, Wisdom DNA tests, and more.
Crouton is a male Roborovski dwarf hamster who came to us in February 2022. He is a little guy - very little! - who prefers to go about his important hamster-business on his own. Roborovski hamsters are known for being shy and timid as they are the smallest hamster species. For this reason Crouton has been marked as not ideal for a home with small children who may not understand that an animal sometimes does not want to be touched.
Crouton loves running miles upon miles every night on his 8 inch wheel and zipping all over his huge sand bath. Roborovski's have an immense love of their sand baths and require approximately a third of their enclosure to be hamster-safe sand. His absolute favorite treats are baby puffs.

Our adoption and applications can be found in the link to our linktree or, if you prefer, you can email us at small.paws.safe.space@gmail.com and we will be happy to send the application to you.
Once you return the completed application to us we will contact you to conduct an interview. You will then have an opportunity to come meet the pets you are interested in adopting. If the meeting goes well and the pet is a good fit for your family we will sign the adoption contract and the nonrefundable adoption fee will be due at that time.
Please note that Small Pet Safe House has a strict policy that bonded animals will not be separated and must be adopted together.
