Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Claus, an incredibly sweet girl with a gentle heart and a love for life’s coziest comforts. Claus was found seeking shelter in a car engine on a cold, rainy day, and since then, she’s been slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place when you're safe and loved. While she may be timid at first, Claus begins to blossom with a little patience, sweet talk, and a few well placed head scratches. She feels most confident when curled up in one of her favorite cozy cat beds, where she loves to roll onto her back for gentle belly rubs and happily makes biscuits. It’s her special way of showing she’s content and starting to trust. Claus also finds comfort in the company of other cats and enjoys snuggling up with her kitty friends, which helps bring out her playful and affectionate side. With a calm home, some TLC, and a little time to adjust, Claus is sure to grow into the loving cuddle bug she’s meant to be. If you would like to give Clause the home she's looking for please fill out an adoption application at aboundedpetrescue.org!

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
