Sharkie is a middle- aged pooch who is quite adorable and a nice schmedium size. She’s a total lovebug who spends a few days a week at Tucson Rescue Now, a PACC rescue partner, located at La Encantada. That’s right- Sharkie likes to schmooze in the fancy foothills, laying on couches and getting all the pets and scritches she can! Sharkie has shared a kennel with other dogs and done great, and was social, tolerant, and easygoing when meeting new furry friends in PACC playgroup. Sharkie loves treats and takes them gently, and rides well in the car. She’s quite the prize in a petite little package- and her floppy ears are just adorable!“Sharkie is a sweet, wiggly mama dog who is tolerant and easy-going. She is always excited to go outside, leashes up easily and walks nicely on leash. In the yard she loves to run around and have fun and she will roll over for all the belly rubs. She seems to enjoy humans and dogs equally. Sharkie has shared her kennel politely with up to 3 other kennelmates at a time and she even tolerates a rude male who has some questionable manners when it comes to the ladies. Very sweet lady who appears to have had puppies before coming to PACC. She`s done with puppies and ready for her mid-life freedom! Absolute lover dog.” – PACC volunteer
