My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Juni!

Juni is a 3 year old, 65 lbs German Shephard Mix

Juni is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to the East Coast.

Are you looking for a loving playful, sweet girl, if so let me introduce myself. I am Juni, I currently live in foster care with 7 kids, 2 cats, and 3 adults so I would have to say I’m good with kids and cats, and people in general. I love my tummy rubbed and giving lots of kisses. I am kennel and potty trained so no need to worry about accidents. I have learned some things that people call commands, I call them things that get me treats, like sit, stay and Let's go [which means eat the food]. I am told up north has cooler weather than here so I’m pretty excited about that, I do love the AC here though. I like to think I’m a lap dog and love snuggles. I do rat the cats out when they hop on the counter and will bark in a "complaining" tone, they shouldn’t break the rules. With gentle corrections and a few "nuh uh" I do well on a hikes and walks. I would be fantastic with a family that has children of all ages, or even being the only spoiled child.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c) rescue based in Corpus Christi Texas. We take strays, owner surrenders, and dogs from the euthanasia list at the animal shelter. We put our dogs into foster homes to socialize. Then we vet our dogs, they are up-to-date on all vaccinations, and neutered and spayed. Once done we put them up for adoption.
