Mama Lunaria is ready for her own family after taking great care of her puppies. Lunaria is done nursing her puppies and is ready to move on to the next step in her journey to her forever home
Lunaria is house trained (always expect an adjustment period). She sleeps on the couch or by her foster’s bed at night. She also knows how to use the doggy door. She is pretty young and still has puppy energy too!
She’s good with the other dogs in her Foster’s house, and the children she has met this far. She does need to be fed separate from other dogs in the house.
If you’re interested in fostering, please hop on over and fill out an app here: https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-to-foster
Whomever had Lunaira before didn’t take care of her, so she is heartworm positive. But fear not! She is on the slow kill treatment approach that is easier on her. And if adopted, the rescue will cover the cost of the slow kill treatment until she tests negative.
Please consider making this adorable girl a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. This can be found on our website at: https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1
$200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates.
If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes.
