My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheez is a 5-year-young healthy 30-pound Boxer mix looking for his forever home. While his early life is unknown to us we do know he has had it rough. We got him from a high-kill shelter the day he was to be put down. He was then adopted by a family but sadly, he was returned to us in the same year. His family moved to the west coast and were unable to take him. Personal observations: he seems to prefer short walks and is good with being inside or outside for short periods. He walks well on a leash. He is a great guard dog and alerts to strangers quickly however he is not a noisy dog and seldom barks unless there’s a reason. Cheez likes his toys, lounging on the couch, in his dog house getting treats and belly rubs. He looks at you with his great golden Eyes and you know he loves you he will give you high fives and stand on his back legs to hug you. Cheez is a great loving dog, you won’t be disappointed. Meet and greets with family a must…at home meet greets available. Always keep in mind patience is a must…a new dog given time to adjust will always be a loving and valuable family member. His adoption donation is $100 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly preventative. He finally had a loving home and now he is back with us wondering why. He has been through so much and deserves to be loved and spoiled. Please come and meet him!

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 rescue who saves animals from death row at area animal control shelters. We do not have a facility and just rely on fosters. When our fosters are full, we cannot save any other animals so we are in desperate need of fosters.
We love animals and know that every life is precious and every animal should have a loving home.
