My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misty is a beautiful dilute short haired calico adult female, about 2 years old. She was surrendered to Animal Control because she was scared of another cat in the household. When we took her into foster, she was still pretty terrified and took several weeks to come out of her shell. She was given lots of time and a safe space in her foster home, and she was never once mean or angry no matter how scared she was.  She has become loving and attentive. She likes her foster people and talks to them with little meows, especially when she’s ready for them to go to bed and snuggle with her.  She is still a little shy around new people, but she is very outgoing and affectionate with the people she knows. She is quite the princess and likes to have a satin pillow to sit on when she looks out the window or a pretty purple one for naps. Misty would do best in a home as an only cat, without small children. A very quiet home with a patient owner who will keep her safe while she adjusts to her new home would be ideal. Her foster family is willing to work closely with her adoptive family to help her acclimate smoothly. She’s a sweet, special cat and deserves to find a home that treasures her. She’s clearly very grateful for her second chance and will blossom even further with her forever person.

Misty is up to date with routine shots, litter box trained, altered and micro chipped
