Beth (born February 2022) is white with brown and black markings with the cutest “beauty mark” under her nose. She is a little timid at first, but once she gets to know you, she is very sweet and enjoys getting pets. She has started to enjoy laying on the couch with her foster parents and will even lay in the bed with them at night sometimes. She has the absolute cutest, smallest, squeaky meow ever that doesn’t match what you would expect from a full grown cat. She likes to play with cat wand toys, especially if it has feathers attached to it. She will actually start innocently growling when she catches the feathers and she tries to pull the toy out of your hand and run off with it as if she’s saying “mine, don’t touch!” If you try to take it from her, she is fine (the growling is totally just a front) and she will continue to play with it forever! She also loves small plastic toys that she can scoot around on hard flooring, like plastic spring toys or even water bottle caps. She likes to be up high, so a tall cat tree would be good. She loves to look out the window at the birds, squirrels, or people walking by. She has never been around dogs or kids and would do best in a quieter home. She and her brother Rip like to run around the house chasing each other, but they would both benefit from someone who would take the time to play with them on a regular. She is in a bonded pair with her brother, Rip, so they must be adopted together.

To ensure the best match for both you and our cats, we require:
Adoption Application – Helps us understand your home, motivation for adoption, and expectations as a pet owner.
Adoption Contract – Includes an indoor-only and no declawing clause, as well as a Vet Promissory Note to ensure continued veterinary care and spay/neuter follow-through (if applicable).

We do not adopt out of state, except on a case-by-case basis near the North Carolina border.
💸 Adoption Donations
Your donation helps us continue rescuing and caring for cats in need:
Unaltered kittens – a minimum donation of $120.
(Includes vaccine series, deworming, and medical care. Adopter is responsible for spay/neuter and rabies vaccine once age-appropriate. We can recommend low-cost vet services.)
Spayed/Neutered cats – a minimum donation of $140
Bonded pairs – a minimum donation of $200
Career/Barn cats – a minimum donation of $25

Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.
