Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Duke, he is a 1-year-old large mixed breed dog. He was found with two bullet holes on the left side of his chest and abandoned along the freeway on I-25.
This poor guy arrived exhausted and completely lethargic. After an examination at our veterinary office, it was determined that Duke had a heart murmur. His bloodwork and radiographs are fine, and his 4dx test is negative. He recently had an echocardiogram (ultrasound of his heart) to determine the next steps for him. At this time the cardiologist says his heart condition is manageable and he does not have any major restrictions and does not need medication.
Despite this trauma, he is still incredibly sweet to everyone he meets and wants nothing more than to be next to people.
Duke has done fantastic with all other dogs male and female of various sizes. Duke is curious about cats but has not shown any signs of aggression towards them.
