My story

Hey there peeps,

Yates here. How's it going? I'm just here hanging out at Lucies with my homies. Let me tell you my story.

So there I was laying in a ditch down some not so well traveled back road. You see, I had found some new friends to play with and we started hanging out. Turns out, these guys were NOT friends at all. They all cornered me and ganged up on me. Each one taking turns biting me wherever they could. Before I knew it, they were gone and here I was, laying there in a nasty, cold ditch, all banged up and bleeding mainly from my mouth but all over.

Miraculously, someone drove by and saw me. They called Lucies and their angels came and rescued me. I just knew I would cross over the rainbow bridge right there in that cold ditch, but those angels would not let that happen!!!

They took me to the vet, got me all stitched up and slowly nursed me back to health. I'm telling you, these volunteers work wonders.

Now, I'm all healthy and full of life!! I love to run and romp and play. I am so thankful to have such a great life.

All I need now is a family of my very own to love me and care for me. I'm ready for an awesome life with YOU!!

Why adoption is a great option

Yates, a Sheridan German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
