My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi folks, it’s Pippin here! And I love just about everyone and everything! I’ve been at the rescue now for over 2 years, living in a foster home, but I can’t wait to find my permanent home! I have some mild special needs as I need daily medicine mixed in my food to help me keep my #2s moving. But otherwise, I’m just fine! I’d love to join an active home with fun people and other animals. See you soon! www.helpingpawswi.org

Go meet their pets

In addition to the pets listed on Adopt-A-Pet, we have some that are not quite ready for prime time, but we will accept adoption applications now on these for when they reach the adoptable stage.

More about this rescue

Description
We take in and adopt out kittens, cats, puppies and dogs and work with retired racehorses from time to time.
Our purpose is to promote animal welfare through aggressive community outreach and education.
We strive to provide unparalleled care to our adoptable pets.

General Information
When pets are adopted from Helping PAWS Pet Rescue, Inc., you can be assured that no corners are cut. These pets are provided with natural, high-quality nutrition, all appropriate vaccines (not just the bare minimum "core" vaccines), and are dewormed appropriately, based on individual fecal examinations. Any medical issues that may occur are treated appropriately, and all surgeries are performed with state of the art monitoring equipment and a surgical laser.
