Elijah is a beautiful black kitty with a stubby tail. He was brought to the refuge with his siblings Rulo, Georgie, Nola, Bruce and Puma I. Elijah experienced a bad reaction to his first rabies vaccination, and as a result he developed some special needs. Siglinda has been working with Elijah to help him with these issues, and we’d love for him to find a dedicated foster or adopter willing to provide the supportive environment that he needs to thrive. Elijah is fine around other cats and would be perfectly content in a home with another easy-going young cat. Approx. DOB: 03-01-2019

Then please start by completing the following steps required in our screening process: 1) Complete our online adoption application: Visit www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/ to get started! 2) Arrange to visit the cat(s) in person 3) Complete a home visit: Once you confirm that you've visited in person with the cat(s) of interest and completed the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff so that a volunteer member of our home visit team can contact you to schedule a visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will the refuge consider continuing with the adoption process.

The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
