Shadoe showed up at some people's house as a stray. They could not keep her so she was put on our waiting list. When we were able to take her in, we discovered she was pregnant. Soon after she went into a foster home, she gave birth to 5 babies! Shadoe's foster mom told us this about her, "She is a very loving cat that seeks attention from anyone near her. She will make a wonderful lap sitter but prefers human company over other cats. She is a bit uncertain of dogs, so she might be best as an only pet."
Shadoe's date of birth is 6/21/2021.
All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection or video is required prior to all cat adoptions.
All our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats. This fee includes:
• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian
• Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention
• Spayed/Neutered
• Microchipped
Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued cats. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm/flea/tick prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and prevention for your cats.
• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
