Hi, I’m Kylie I’m a 4-year-old black shepherd mix with all the classic shepherd looks — just in a perfectly medium-sized package. I came to the city shelter after being surrendered by my previous owner, and while we don’t know exactly why, we do know that I arrived quite underweight.
I was incredibly lucky to get out before my time ran out, and now I’m safe here — getting stronger, healthier, and more confident every day.
When I first arrived, I was understandably nervous. New places can be scary after everything I’ve been through. But with a little patience and kindness, I’ve already started coming out of my shell and showing my sweet, gentle personality.
I’m not asking for much — just a chance. A home where I can feel secure, loved, and never overlooked again. I’ve already been given a second chance… now I’m hoping for the forever one.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and soulful eyes, please don’t let me sit here too long. I’m ready when you are ???
Kylie is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Kylie will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption.
