You might remember me, I'm Scotch! Keller's Kats rescued me and got my broken leg all bandaged up and I'm fully healed now and I'm getting ready for my furever home! I have a lot of energy so a fenced in yard or very active family to help tire me out daily would be best. I'm eager to please and do well with some commands, but I'm still a baby so I can be a little stubborn about learning new things. I would do really great with a well-balanced and friendly dog to help me learn good puppy behavior or an owner that can help me train to be the goodest boy! I've been working on 'gentle' and not jumping when my foster mom gets home or has treats and eventually I sit very patiently if you are consistent. It would be best if I go to a home with bigger kids (8+ years old) because of this. I have learned how to do the puzzles my foster mom gives me - she says I'm very smart! I do well in a crate and I'm working on potty training. Cats are interesting to me so I try to play with them - if they aren't interested I take the hint and keep playing with my toys so cats will be okay with proper introductions. After all the playing and training my favorite thing is to cuddle and watch netflix. Keller's Kats Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit, volunteer run, no-kill rescue group that provides foster homes for homeless, abused or abandoned animals facing euthanasia.
All of our Dogs have been spayed/neutered, received age appropriate vaccines, deflead, dewormed, and microchipped.
