My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moonpie (DOB 1/1/2020) was seized along with 60 other cats with the help of the state police in September 2021. She went into foster with her litter of kittens and once the kittens were weaned and vetted, entered our shelter with them. All the kittens have since been adopted but Moonpie is still waiting! She is our shelter's longest resident and is so deserving of a home. She is a staff and volunteer favorite and can usually be found perched in her favorite cat bed in our adult unit or lounging on the porch. She gets along well with other cats and was in foster with dogs. She would be a great addition to any home! Moonpie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FELV, FIV and microchipped. If interested in Moonpie, please complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org or email Mattie at Mattie@nokillarc.org.

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.
