Spunky is a total sweetheart of a cat who is just so friendly and affectionate. A true lap cat, she would love nothing more than than a home to settle right into and with people to snuggle! She is a confident yet easy-going cat who gets along with other laid-back cats and who adjusts well to new situations.
Spunky has two medical conditions that our medical team is monitoring. A medical evaluation revealed that she has a heart condition which, unfortunately, carries a risk of worsening. She also has a chronic skin allergy or sensitivity that causes her to be itchy and she receives medication to help alleviate the irritation. Our Medical Manager would be happy to speak with potential adopters about Spunky's medical needs. Spunky does not let her issues slow her down, and she enjoys life to the fullest, sharing her bright and amiable personality with everyone she meets!
Spunky is currently living in a local foster office with two of our devoted volunteers, and she has made herself quite at home, bringing a joyful energy to the office and spending as much time as possible sitting in her foster moms' laps under the guise of "helping" with their daily work! We are looking for an adoptive family who will cherish this very special girl, with the understanding that she will require regular health monitoring and care. If you are interested in setting up an appointment to meet Spunky, please submit an online adoption application.
Spunky requires an experienced home and an established veterinarian relationship.
