My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Our shy little orangesicle… Oyster spends most of her day hiding and napping. She is painfully shy, prefers to observe rather than interact and would prefer a quiet home with her sister Saltine, as that is where she would feel the safest. She doesn’t require much, just some hiding spots, food and water and to head boops you once in a while. Her future human will need to be patient with Oyster as she is very shy.

If you are interested in Oyster, email: Nextchapterpetrescue@gmail.com

We are giving preference to those wanting both
Oyster and Saltine.

All of our kitties come vaccinated, speutered, microchipped, dewormed, and with all vet records. If you are interested in adoption please email us at:
nextchapterpetrescue@gmail.com

We require an adoption application, a home visit and meet and greet before adoption.

More about this rescue

What started as two friends just trying to help a couple kitties turned into being able to help over 100 kitties just since September 2021. We have expanded from a few rooms in our homes to a newly renovated rescue space! Since we are a very young rescue we are still finding our footing in the community. We are 100% volunteer and donation based which means we have to keep our intake numbers low until we can secure more consistent monetary donations. From day one our goal has been to help as many gently used pets receive the medical attention they need and find loving humans to open their hearts and homes to them. In the future we hope to outgrow our current space so we can help write the next chapter of even more homeless fur friends.
