Their adoption process

The SPCA of Niagara requires photo identification and proof of current address. All adopters are required to receive a Guest Pass prior to adoption and adopters will need to sign an adoption contract before they take their new companion home. The contract requires the adopter to provide sufficient food, water, shelter, kind treatment and veterinary care. Our adoption fees are as follows: Kittens (2-6 months) $125 Cats (6 months- 3 years) $85 Cats (3 years and older) $25 Puppies (2-6 months) $250 Dogs (6 months - 10 years) $125 Senior (10+ years) $25 Prices may vary on small breed dogs, exotics and purebred animals. All cats and dogs adopted through the SPCA of Niagara are microchipped, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, receive 30 days of Sheltercare Health Insurance, flea treatment as necessary and a free veterinary visit.
