My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MISS CERI HAS FOUND HER PERFECT HOME

***Please consider being a foster mom and dad to a pet in need. It is a very rewarding experience and it will help save a dog's life.***

** Female, Poodle
** 10 yrs, 14lbs
** House Trained and will use dog door
** Not a huge fan of her crate and prefers being with her person
** Good with dogs, unsure on cats
** Adoption fee $120

Health: Ceri is spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, current on DHPP, Bordatella, and Rabies - Ceri was also groomed as she was very matted and needed to be shaved down. Ceri will be getting a dental on 6/6/22. Ceri lost most of her teeth and her bloodwork was fabulous with no issues at all.

More About Me: Welcome new arrival Ceri to rescue. Meet Ceri! Ruby is a 10 year old 14 lb female Poodle. Her owner became very ill and our rescue was asked to help find her and her sister a new home. Her foster mom has four other small dogs - she gets along with them fine (doesn't play much with them but does well and ignores the puppy). She loves her people and enjoys asking for pets. She is a darling girl that loves companionship which is why she is not as fond of her crate but she does fine in her crate with Ruby. She is a super sweet little girl - she warmed up quickly and loves to follow her people around and be with them. Ceri uses the dog door to go outside and potty. She doesn't bark that we have heard - and has pretty good house manners, she's great on a leash and would love to go for walks with you, if I hadn't been told her age I would have guessed much younger! Ceri and her sister Ruby are being fostered separately - but I'm sure they'd love being together again if you'd like to adopt them both!

History: Ceri's owner became very sick and the family took her and Ruby to be euthanized however the vet could not euthanize healthy senior dogs and reached out to have them join rescue to find a home. We are so glad to have her join us in rescue.

NWIPR IS AN ALL VOLUNTEER REGISTERED NON-PROFIT 501c3 PUBLIC CHARITY
Your adoption donation is used to care for and vet the many dogs that enter into rescue from overcrowded shelters where their time is running out-ultimately they are on death row. Your adoption donation goes directly to the care of the many dogs that enter into rescue. All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, surgeries, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue.

NOTE: Please do not email for more dog info. This is all the info available until approved application is received and then you can talk directly to that dog's foster home for further info. Thank you!

NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason.

PLEASE NOTE: The information contained within this pet's biography is based on observations from the current foster home. NWIPR is very honest about the pet's behavior and needs (and provides up to date information), we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners as individual household dynamics vary greatly.

CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG
***Do you or someone you know have the desire to help a rescue dog? If you have a loving heart, dog experience, a safe and secure yard and the notion to make a difference, please consider fostering a rescue dog. There are MANY dogs that we just do not have room for and just one person can make a world of difference to a dog that needs a safe place to rest his or her weary paws.....***
