But things have changed and Maggie now comes running at mealtime and will get within a few feet of her foster mom! She is completely compatible with all the other cats in foster care, and is anxious to find a permanent home with one or more of her long term buddies.Maggie and her feline friends lived in a country setting well off a quiet road, with a barn, several sheds and other places which provided excellent shelter. These cats had little exposure to traffic so are looking for similar, traffic-safe situations. Maggie seems sure to excel at rodent control and will happily provide those services in exchange for room and board.
Maggie is spayed, vaccinated, negative for feline leukemia and FIV and in beautiful, healthy condition. Please consider adopting her and one or more of her buddies to your country property. The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
