My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers is a sweet girl who is looking for her person. She is a 6 years old retriever mix, around 37 lbs and is very loving and gentle. She is always a "breath of fresh air". She is active and would make a great walking or hiking buddy, she is always ready for a new adventure. She is leash trained, house broken and knows how to use a doggie door. Snickers' fur is amazingly soft and her eyes will melt your heart, she gets along great with other dogs and has been gentles with cats when they are able to get her attention - she usually just ignores them! On walks she is adventurous and curious about her surroundings, she likes longer walks where she can explore everything. She plays great in a group or by herself and at the end of the day, she just wants to snuggle.

All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered/boarded locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment helps them build trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay, neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for crossing state travel.
