Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lu Lu is a small female soft coat dachshund chihuahua mix who came to us as an owner-surrender (due to a sudden life changing event) about 3 weeks ago. She has since been spayed, vaccinated, and chipped.
She is almost 3 years old but it became obvious during her evaluation with us that she was rarely, if ever, outside. She doesn't like to walk on a leash or step foot on the grass. She seems to be about 90% potty trained but not to the dog door or regular paper potty pads. She does however go on reusable/washable potty pads both indoors and on the patio.
She is extremely anxious around small children and in a multiple dog household strives to be the center of attention. She gives more love and kisses than she gets!
Her perfect life would be with a single adult, a couple, or a family with older children. She does well ignoring cats and has fit in with other small "mellow" dogs but energetic puppies seem to make her as nervous as children.
She is the epitome of the perfect lap dog. She will sleep in your bed. She will often lay at your feet or in a comfy dog bed but prefers to spend time in your lap. Expect that she will follow you everywhere. She literally wants to always give kisses and get pets.
