My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Bubba is a very handsome boy who is looking for a special home. Bubba is currently in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ. We do offer a foster to adopt trial for dogs with our partner rescue in Louisiana.

Bubba was found in Louisiana with multiple stab wounds to his neck. Our friends at Cane Haven, a sister rescue in New Orleans, rescued him and nursed him back to health. Bubba needed 3 surgeries to repair his wounds. He also had a terrible skin infection. All of this is behind him now as he is a healthy, beautiful boy.

Bubba is sweet and playful. He is housebroken and crate trained. Bubba prefers to be the only pet in the home.  He is fixed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and he tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee will be $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
