Cherry is the lone girl in the Fruitbowl litter (brothers are mango, Banana, Peach and Blueberry), she loves all kinds of toys and is pretty friendly, non-plussed and nosey. She likes to cuddle in your lap, just after she's had a play session with her brothers. She does well with other dogs, loves all food and has the house training thing pretty much figured out yet - when given the chance to to outside, she will do her business in the grass, she doesn't know how to alert to going outside, so close supervision and regular outside potty breaks are important. She will also use pee-pads if outside access is not available.
Cherry would be good in just about any family, with or without other dogs for her to play with, kids over 7 would be fine as well. She loves to just be held and sleep in your lap - and as she can't hold her bladder for long periods of time yet, regular access to outside potty area will continue getting her fully house trained.
Cherry and her siblings will be ready for their new homes last week of June, but we are taking applications on them now - they could go as a foster-to-adopt before their spay/neuter dates to local families.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
